The Hicks & Oliver -Zazu’s Verandah Building was built in 1914 on the historic Dadeville Square. It was originally a hardware on one side, run by Mr. Clifton Oliver and Mr. Lee Hicks ran the department store side. The hardware store had the motto, “we have it, if we can find it”. It was later Moore’s Hardware Store and Corkey and Anita Graves, Sign Shop. In 2019, with attention to every detail, owners Mitzy & Rick Hidding renovated the now 110-year-old building into a chic city-barn event space called Zazu’s Verandah for hosting events and live music.
